(B2) Right Time, Right Care: Optimizing Child and Youth Systems of Care to Create Integrated Care Pathways Within Ontario’s Communities
Description

Over the past year, communities have been working to bring the Right Time, Right Care (RTRC) vision to life. Resources have been created to support local-level implementation, and coaches are collaborating with school boards and Child and Youth Mental Health Agencies (CYMHA) to provide the necessary support for executing the processes and practices needed to advance the RTRC vision in their communities.

This workshop will explore the RTRC implementation approach, emphasizing practical strategies and real-world applications. Participants will learn how different communities have tailored this approach to their unique contexts. The session will highlight the importance of collaborative relationships among partners, showing how strong partnerships enhance the effectiveness of the RTRC model. Attendees will gain actionable knowledge and techniques to foster collaboration and successful implementation in their own communities.

Learning Objectives

1. An improved understanding of RTRC’s evidence-informed implementation approach and it’s impact on care pathway work.

2. Increased awareness of existing tools, resources, and key considerations to implement RTRC within communities.

3. Practical examples of how communities are putting RTRC into practice across Ontario.
