This study offers the first sector-wide assessment of the functional capacities required to implement evidence-based interventions in Ontario’s CYMH organizations. Using an implementation science-informed survey of organizational infrastructure, leadership, training, supervision, fidelity, digital systems, and equity integration, we identify a system with foundational readiness but critical structural deficits. Organizations report a reliance on external training due to constrained resources, insufficient capacity for measurement-based care and equity-informed decision-making. Additionally, despite strong practices in supervision and feedback integration, most EBIs remain in the implementation phase. By mapping these capacities across diverse settings, this study delineates the organizational and policy levers required to strengthen the implementation of evidence-based interventions. Improving outcomes for children and youth demands not only effective interventions but also organizations capable of delivering them with fidelity, consistency, and equity. This study provides an empirical roadmap to guide sector investment, system reform, and improved EBI implementation across the CYMH landscape.
