Dr. Karys Peterson-Katz received her Bachelor of Arts and Science (Honours) in Cognitive Science from McGill University (2019) and her PhD in Neuroscience from Queen’s University (2023). Her research focuses on early childhood development in diverse Canadian contexts and on the implementation of developmental screening tools, including the Ages and Stages Questionnaires. Dr. Peterson-Katz is a Data and Evaluation Specialist with Infant and Early Mental Health Promotion at The Hospital for Sick Children, where she leads the evaluation of the Infant and Early Mental Health Care Pathways initiative, as well as the Canadian Database of Development, Infancy to Six.
