A mother through birth and adoption, Shannon’s parenting journey includes living experience with complex trauma, FASD, ADHD, ASD, and AFCCA.
As a Registered Early Childhood Educator, she brings compassion and steady advocacy to families connected with the local CAS, school boards, and community partners. Shannon is devoted to supporting LGBTQ2S+ caregivers and youth, promoting well-being, fostering cultural connections in adoptions, and improving access to mental health services.
Shannon’s path with Interwoven Connections began a Peer Connector. As Programs Director, she draws on both her lived experience and professional heart work to strengthen permanency and community across Ontario.
