Darlene Durand is a Registered Early Childhood Educator, parent partner and advocate for family‑centered care in child and youth mental health. She blends lived experience with her professional roles, supporting her daughter with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and complex medical needs. For two years, she has served as a Peer Supporter with PCMH, offering FASD peer support to families and caregivers. Darlene is also a patient partner with her local hospital and contributes to research projects across Canada, bringing lived experience in thought‑provoking ways. Her family, proudly known as Team LOVE, models partnership and celebrates strengths.
