Diane, since 1979, has learned, lived and worked on the traditional lands of the Anishinabe, home to Fort William First Nation (Thunder Bay). She has worked at Children's Centre Thunder Bay, for 35 years, the last 12 as CEO. Additionally, she has been an adjunct professor at Lakehead and consultant with Thunder Bay Counselling.

Diane is passionate about several critical issues including children's wellbeing, our systems-of-care, improving governance, and social injustice. Through addressing inequities caused by colonialism and racism, Diane is optimistic that, together, we can provide more “socially-just” treatment for infants/children/youth and their families.
