While Gaynor Edwards is a registered nurse by trade, with clinical specialities in diabetes and heart failure, she has been privileged to lead mental health services for the last 6 of her 16 years of service with the Georgian Bay Family Health Team! Gaynor was part of the original team that began work on the MyDAWN pathway in 2019, participated in the launch to 52 local primary care physicians in June 2023, and has led repeated “PDSA” cycles as the pathway has evolved in their primary care practice.
