Melanie Le Faive is the Supervisor of Children and Youth Services at Aamjiwnaang First Nation located in Sarnia, Ontario. Melanie has a background in Early Childhood Education, Autism and Behavioural Science, and Communicative Disorders. As the Nurturing the Seed Lead for her community, Melanie has extensive knowledge of trauma-informed care, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, early intervention, and has a passion for early and infant mental health and attachment. She has been part of the NTS project since 2020. It is Melanie’s passion to provide high quality support and education to assist children, youth, and their families as they navigate developmental milestones, referrals, diagnosis, life transitions, etc. while connecting them with the appropriate supports and services.
