Hi, my name is Samreen (she/her), and I am a 17-year-old youth advocate of mental health for young people in Ontario. Since twelfth grade, I’ve been involved with The New Mentality, where I’ve had the privilege of hearing diverse perspectives and learning more about the challenges faced by BIPOC youth within the mental health system. This experience has fueled my passion for advocating for systemic change and creating supportive spaces for youth voices. Outside of advocacy, I love running, drawing, and exploring new foods. I’m excited to connect with and learn from all the youth attending the CMHO conference this year!
