Mercy Charles is a Research Manager in Hematology-Oncology clinical research and a parent advocate committed to strengthening family engagement in systems that support children and youth. As a mother of three children, Mercy brings lived experience navigating parenting and advocacy, which has shaped her commitment to ensuring families are meaningfully included in services and decision-making.

She serves on the Toronto District School Board’s Parent Involvement Advisory Committee as Treasurer and Co-Lead of the Strategic Planning Working Group, and is a member of the School Mental Health Ontario Parent Caregiver Collaboration Group. Mercy is also involved with Macaulay Centres for Children as a member of the Parent Advisory Council and Board of Directors.
