Tharsiga Gunasegaran is a Clinical Research Project Assistant at the Barwick Implementation Lab at the Hospital for Sick Children. With a background in human biology, psychology, and economics, she focuses on leveraging participatory approaches to promote equitable and socially accountable health systems. She has collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate initiatives spanning health systems innovation, mental health, cancer diagnostics, social medicine and medical education. At the Barwick Implementation Lab, she currently supports research aimed at understanding and strengthening systems' capacity to adopt and sustain evidence-based practices.
