Based at Trillium Health Partners’ Institute for Better Health, Liz is a sociologist and qualitative researcher with experienced with arts-based methods and community-based participatory research. Community co-researchers share their knowledge through individually and collectively empowering participatory methods such as digital storytelling, photovoice, digital documentary and equity-informed co-design. Working collaboratively with community members and partners, these strength-based initiatives highlight the importance of lived expertise informing policy and service improvements while supporting advocacy and system change priorities.
