This experiential workshop highlights innovative and evidence based culturally affirming programs and services tailored for Black children, youth, and families. Participants will explore the significant impact of these programs on fostering positive identity development, and overall well-being. Through engaging discussions and interactive activities, attendees will gain insights into effective strategies for integrating culturally affirming approaches into community-based services. The workshop will highlight CAFCAN's successes and challenges in implementing evidence-informed practices that promote resilience and empowerment.  By the end of the session, participants will have engaged in activities that share practical tools and resources to create and support environments that celebrate and reinforce the cultural strengths of Black children, youth, and families, ultimately contributing to more inclusive and equitable service delivery. This workshop is ideal for anyone who seeks to better understand practice and Africentric/Black evidence-informed programs and services dedicated to fostering positive cultural identity and culturally responsive support systems.
