Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is one of the most common yet least recognized neurodevelopmental conditions, impacting children, youth, and families across Canada. As a parent partner, I share lived experience navigating anticipatory anxiety, emotional regulation, and systemic gaps in care. This Lightning Talk highlights the urgent need to embed FASD awareness into child and youth mental health systems, moving beyond tokenism to authentic partnership. Using the metaphor of the stage, I invite participants to step out from backstage and onto the stage with families—sharing the spotlight, co‑writing the script, and building care together. Through co‑created tools such as visual care maps, boundary‑setting scripts, and family‑centered resources, I demonstrate how collaboration transforms care into resilience and joy. The call to action is clear: recognize FASD as a critical part of mental health and ensure families are supported as equal partners in shaping the future.
