Alyssa is enrolled in her third year of Honours B.A, dual majoring in Psychology (Research Intensive Specialization) and Legal Studies, with a minor in Neuroscience, at the University of Waterloo. She is currently a research assistant for the Emotion Transformation Institute, under the supervision of Dr. Mirisse Foroughe, Ph.D., C. Psych., a Clinical Psychologist and Research Director at Emotion Transformation Institute. Alyssa’s research interests include parent-child relationship dynamics, specifically their influence on emotional regulation and decision-making.
