Together, the Lead Agency Consortium, Ontario Ministry of Health, Knowledge Institute on Child and Youth Mental Health and Addictions and Children’s Mental Health Ontario are partnering with families and clinical experts to create a high quality, evidence-based program and model of care that will ensure consistent and seamless IEMH care across communities. In this interactive workshop, presenters will describe this groundbreaking initiative, which will result in a coordinated, standardized program and model of IEMH care, and produce positive outcomes for children under age 6 across the province. Presenters will share the approach and progress to date, including an overview of the latest evidence related to IEMH intake and assessment tools, integrated models of care, programming, training, and clinical supervision. We will invite workshop participants to share important insights to shape the final version of this program and model of care, and inform its implementation.
